Iv downloaded alot of cars since i finally got GHG but some of them i am unhappy with so when i delete them from my cars folder and i try to play the game again i can get all the way up to the sign in screen but when i click on my sign in name the game freezes and sh*ts itself. Question

The reason it does that is because it's trying to find the .car file, but u deleted it, so it can't find it and it freezes. Rolling Eyes

Same thing happened to me. There's two ways you can solve this. 1) Redownload the cars you got rid of, get rid of all the extra parts for cash, auction them, and never buy them again if you don't like them. OR 2) Delete your mechanic. Nothing much else I can tell you..

Just make sure you dont have one in youre garage, and get rid of all the parts you got for it.
I think ive tried that once, but i dont remember if it worked...

Nope, that doesn't work Kane, It holds all the data for parts in the Junkyard too,

I'm not possitive, but if you never buy one of the cars, or repair one of them, it might work to remove it, but i'm not sure of that, You could always try loadin gyour career file after removeing cars just to see if it works, but most likely they wont

Yeah, only way you can permenetly remove it, is to delete the files, than your Mechanic (your game). But if you're at expert or something, and've worked on it for a long while....well, needless to say I po'ed at the thing. lol

It won't help your current problem, but for future reference, I'll suggest making a copy of your mechanic file before trying out a new car. That way if you don't like it, you can delete the car and write ove the mec file so the game acts as if the car was never installed.

Mad Well then looks like i gotta say goodby to DR mason makada with $174277 one hundred seventy four thousand plus GRRRRAORRR Evil or Very Mad ,(sigh) he was a good man/mechanic,WAS bc he bought all the dl cars and worked on them so. Hmm if there was a 'junkyard' folder then what? probably wouldnt still work if u could delete all the parts.
