Odd problem with GHG and WinXP

I used to play GHG all the time, but I've never gotten it working on WinXP. My problem is a kind of weird one. It seems that the loader program is freezing up. The game runs fine after I end the loader program, with one small problem. Most of the time, the Windows dialog asking if you want to send or not send information pops up after the game has loaded, stealing the display from it and causing the game to crash, as it does any time it loses the display.

Any of the following should work, but I don't know how to do any of them:
- run ghg.exe without using the loader program; I thought this would be easy, but it won't run outside of the loader program--do I need some command line arguments?
- keep the dialog from stealing the focus.
- keep the dialog from coming up at all.

The first option would be preferable, not only because it is annoying to have to end the hung loader even if the game would work, but because I'm not completely sure that the dialog stealing the focus is the whole problem, although I'm under the impression that it is.

Any ideas?

Well, what do you know, that "output.log" file is useful after all. All I did was add the -MustBeHere option that it said was missing and, TADA! GHG now runs, and in Hardware mode, at that!
