Please Help!

OK, I know this will sound weird, but just look it over, and see if you can help. My dad has a 1998 Ford Econoline, with a 4.2L V-6. Now I'm looking for upgrade/performance parts. This is because that six blows. If someone can locate some parts for me, that would be great. This excludes K&N Air Filter and MSD Spark Plug Wires. As I have already found those. Thanks!

you could put true duel 2 inch exhaust (if you go much bigger you will start loosing you`r low end torque) port the intake port, port and polish the exhaust port on the heads then port match the intake manifold to the heads that should help put an extra kick in you`r but Wink

Thanks, I was thinking dual too, maybe I'll get a local Muffler shop to do it. However with the head porting etc... I don't really feel like going internal into the engine...yet...

is it an over head cam engin ? how many coils does it have ? it wouldn`t be to hard to make a CAI that with a hy flow air filter brand don`t much matter cool blue , K&N , ect should give you a good 20 - 25 HP . When it comes to the plug wires 8.8 - 9 mm will be fine for a stock to mildly modded engin Cool

Actually, to tell the thruth, I'm pretty damn sure that it is a pushrod engine. No OHC's! I think I might give him a K&N Air Filter for his birthday/Christmas. That is $50 though, oh well, i can get it.
